Windswept Chimney Service is owned and operated by Frank and Ruth Francisco, life long Scotia natives and graduates of Scotia-Glenville High School. Frank was a Career Firefighter in the Navy, and also a volunteer fireman for Thomas Corners, Scotia, and West Charlton Fire Departments. His choice of professions was a natural progression for him.

Windswept Chimney Service has been locally owned and operated by the Francisco's since 1986. Both Ruth and Frank are active member of the New York State Chimney Sweep Guild as well as well as the National Chimney Sweep Guild. Ruth currently holds the office of President of the New York Guild. Frank is the Communications Officer of the New York Guild and is a C.S.I.A (Chimney Safety Institute of America) Certified Chimney Sweep.
